Alcatel launches new smartphone-POP STAR

NEW DELHI: Alcatel has launched its new  dual SIM smartphone-POP STAR’ in Indian market for  Rs. 6,999. The SIM card supported by the device is Micro SIM card. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2G/3G/4G network are the connectivity options available on the device.

The 5-inch POP STAR, part of the mobile brand’s POP series, and is available in two variants of colors i.e., Metal Silver and Metal Gold.The smartphone will be exclusively available on Gadgets 360 degree

It has a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels as its resolution and supports 16 M colors. The chipset on the device is MediaTek MT6580 and Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP2.

The device comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded to 32 GB using a Micro SD Card. The device packs a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash which record HD videos at 30 fps and 5 MP front camera.

The phone is fully laminated and offers 75 % less light reflection for excellent readability under sunlight and a 160- degree wide-viewing angle.
