ALE expands WLAN portfolio

NEW DELHI: Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has introduced new Wireless LAN controller (OAW-4450) that offers cost effective controller-based WLAN deployment solution for medium size network deployment.

As part of the unified access technology designed to meet corporation’s mobility requirements, the expanded WLAN capabilities offer access points that support hospitality, branch office, outdoor and other temperature-sensitive areas, a company statement said.

The new technology innovations include: New WLAN controller, OAW-4450 that supports up to 256 Access Points (APs) and 8k client devices, New WLAN Access Points, three new 802.11ac access points join the product portfolio.
