NEW DELHI: Allied Telesis, an innovator of smart technologies for an information-driven world, has opened a new office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as it strengthens its presence across the Asia Pacific region.

Working with both government and the private sector, Allied Telesis has been involved in large-scale deployments in areas such as aerospace and defense, resource management, public safety, and transport systems.

"We have seen great success across the Asia Pacific region over the last 20 years, and our presence in Cambodia represents the commitment we continue to make to the market," said Jakub Duch, Vice President of International Sales, Allied Telesis. "This new office will enable us to provide both government and private enterprises within Cambodia with the high level of local service and support that we deliver in other countries across the region."

Allied Telesis currently has over 2,000 employees around the globe. Expansion into new countries is a key factor in market growth, and Allied Telesis are pleased to be opening an office in Cambodia. The company has appointed staff with significant experience in the Cambodian technology sector. "We're delighted with our new local team and the early success we have had, and we look forward to establishing further relationships throughout Cambodia," said Duch.

"Our Japanese enterprise customers and system integrators value both the product and professional services that are provided by our local and Japanese staff," said Duch. "The Japanese government is increasingly supporting projects such as critical infrastructure and Smart Cities in countries across the region, and we are well positioned to provide the support these countries need," he added.
