Bharti Airtel Announces Airtel Black, Brings Everything Airtel Under One Umbrella

At a news briefing on Friday, Bharti Airtel announced the introduction of Airtel Black. Under the new offering, the company will offer all of its services - fiber, DTH and mobile - under one plan. The company is offering the customers to either build their own plans, or choose from one of the fixed-bundle plans.

The telco also added that the plans were live from today onwards.

Airtel Black - Everything Airtel at One Place

At the news briefing, the telco said that it wants to bring all its products together at one platform. Airtel Black goes for the same - it will bring together Airtel services - the fiber, the mobile and the DTH - under one Airtel Black Plan.

These plans are different from the One Airtel plan it introduced earlier. Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing & Brand Officer, Bharti Airtel, said at the briefing that those plans, however, were only a part of the "beta-tests".

Sharma further said that Airtel Black focuses on premium onboarding. As the telco will provide free installations for every Black customer. This includes DTH and Fiber installations.

Further, he added that every Airtel Black customer will have a dedicated team of relationship managers for the customers, gives priority resolutions to Black customers. Thirdly, the customers can also go for custom plans. That is, customers can choose as per their requirements - on an a la carte basis. He also said that the telco has introduced an AI-powered recommendations engine to help customers choose. Sharma added that the recommendations engine will use the customer's historical data to make suggestions.

Apart from custom plans, the telco offered 4 fixed-bundle plans. These are:

• ₹2,099/Month: This gives Black customers 3 mobile postpaid connections, 1 fiber and 1 DTH connection.
• ₹1,598/Month: This gives Black customers 2 mobile postpaid connections and 1 fiber connection. This is also called the Fiber-only plan.
• ₹1,349/Month: This gives Black customers 3 mobile postpaid connections and 1 DTH connection. This is the telco's DTH-only plan.
• ₹998/Month: This given Black customers 2 mobile postpaid connections and 1 DTH connection.
