In a joint statement, Bharti Airtel and Cisco said that they have partnered to launch enterprise connectivity solutions based on Cisco's SD-WAN tech.
Bharti Airtel, Cisco Partner in Enterprise Solutions
According to the telco, the new solutions will allow enterprises to design, deploy, configure, migrate, and manage their WAN infrastructure. The enterprise customers can also adapt to the real-time demands of cloud computing, mobility, and digitization rapidly. Bharti Airtel further said that its "Intelligent VPN solution" is now available to its large customer base across India. Notably, the telco serves over one million businesses under its enterprise arm Airtel Business. The telco said that the new solution will base on automated and centrally managed SD-WAN.
The companies said that the new solution will allow them to build secure networks that offer cost-effective connectivity. They further added that they aim to enable business to accelerate digital transformation for their customers.
Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO - Airtel Business said in a joint statement, "our collaboration with Cisco is aligned towards a future of agile and digitalized businesses, supporting customers with the infrastructure required to create the best user experiences". He also added that the move will solidify Airtel's position in Indian enterprise connectivity segment.
