NEW DELHI: Brocade has appointed Jason Baden as its new senior director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), where he will be responsible for driving the company’s business in the region. Based in Sydney, Baden will report directly to Adam Judd, Brocade vice president for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ).
Bringing more than 15 years of technology management and business development experience as well as a challenger-centric approach, Baden joins Brocade from Juniper Networks, where he spent the last eight years in a variety of strategic business and account management roles. Most recently, he was regional director for ANZ, where he was responsible for leading growth in the region. Prior to Juniper Networks, Baden held various business development and strategic account roles at AXS-One, Airwide Solutions, and Optus.
“As we continue to build on our leadership as a pure-play networking company, ANZ is a strategic market for Brocade and our soon to be integrated Ruckus Wireless business,” said Adam Judd, vice president for APJ at Brocade.
“Jason’s demonstrated leadership skills and track record as a challenger and disruptor naturally align with Brocade’s commitment to help customers capitalize on network innovation to transform their business," said Judd.
“No other networking vendor is as uniquely placed as Brocade is today: it is 100 percent focused on developing innovative and comprehensive solutions for network transformation,” said Baden.
“It’s an exciting time to join Brocade, and I look forward to helping our customers move to New IP network architectures that are virtualized, open, and agile, as they leverage next-generation technology opportunities for a competitive advantage," he added.
Baden will assume his new role beginning July 25, 2016.
