Government trying to make sure BSNL 4G launch is a success
When BSNL , attempted to introduce 4G in the past, it encountered many difficulties. For BSNL, things seem different this time around. In January, the state-run telco may finally roll-out 4G.
The Indian government is trying to make sure that everything proceeds correctly and quickly. The BSNL 4G network has a lot to offer users in India. It might relieve pressure on private telecoms' clogged 4G networks and improve user experience.
Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) is assisting BSNL with the nationwide rollout of 4G. According to reports, BSNL and TCS finished their 4G PoC in Chandigarh in October 2022.
The next stage for BSNL is to enter into a business contract with TCS. The government has already approved BSNL's placement of the order with TCS.
The deadline to submit a bid was November 18, 2022. By the end of this year or the beginning of 2023, if everything goes as planned and on schedule and in the right order, BSNL 4G services will soon be available in the country.

The government also wishes for BSNL to roll out 5G quickly and telecom minister Ashwani Vaishnaw has repeatedly stated that BSNL will do so in 2023. According to the telecom Minister, BSNL's 5G service would go live on August 15, 2023.
At the India Mobile Congress (IMC) held in October this year, C-DoT already exhibited its homegrown 5G core. The resolution may enable BSNL to roll out 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) services in a few regions of the nation.
