State-run Telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is now offering data carry forward option to its post paid users. Now with the cut throat competition ongoing in the telecom market with Jio’s entry, each operator is trying to charm new subscribers or retain the present users. While the telecom war continues, BSNL is following the track set by the private telecom players and is letting the postpaid subscribers to carry forward unused data to next billing cycle. Heavy Internet users with postpaid plans can rejoice as this was long coming from the government owned PSU.
The most requested feature from its subscribers was recently announced by the service provider, but there is a catch. BSNL has revamped its postpaid plan priced at Rs 525 in Kolkata telecom circle. This plan is offering 80GB data along with ability to carry forward data up to 200GB to the next billing cycle. But, this carry forward option is limited to Rs 525 plan in the Kolkata circle only.
