Bharat Sanchar Nagar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced another broadband plan for its customers. The new plan is priced at Rs. 549 and is offering 3GB daily data at the speed of 8Mbps. One the data limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1Mbps from 8Mbps.
The newly launched plan will also allow its subscribers unlimited calling. But there is a catch. This plan by the state run telco allows the users to make these unlimited calls on any network on Sundays. But on weekdays, the subscribers will be able to make unlimited calls to BSNL numbers and calling other networks is limited to 700 minutes.
Also, the telecom operator also offers free calling at night on weekdays between 10.30pm to 6.00am. The new plan is available in all BSNL circles except in Andaman and Nicobar. BSNL’s newly launched plan is also being offered on discount price if the user chooses for the one year, two years or three years' subscription of the plan.
BSNL’s official website states that the user can get a discount of Rs 1,098 if he/she goes for the one year plan as the price will be reduced to Rs 5,490 instead from Rs. 6,588. Similarly for the two year subscription, the user only has to pay Rs 10,431 instead of Rs 13,176. Lastly for the three year subscription plan, the user only has to pay Rs 15,372 instead of Rs 19,764.
Recently, BSNL has also revised its Rs. 399 prepaid plan which is now offering 3.21 GB data per day.
