Capgemini Reinforces its Collaboration with Ericsson at its 5G Lab

Capgemini announced that it has deployed the 5G SA Industry Connect solution from Ericsson at its 5G Lab in Mumbai.

The IT firm said that a team of experts will support organizations to develop latest use-cases in 5G.

The solution in question is the Industry Connect solution by Ericsson at the 5G Lab. Capgemini said that the solution is plug and play and dedicated network product. The product also comes with Ericsson's pre-selected components.

This solution provides private, on-premise deployment for limited coverage, which is ideal for use cases such as manufacturing. In the lab, the same will allow for testing of various use cases for industries such as health, safety, manufacturing.

The French IT firm has built the lab in Mumbai, and it will offer the following:

  • Ideation catalyst program for 5G immersion and opportunity framing
  • Use case acceleration platform to implement business use cases on a pre-packaged platform
  • Fab Lab to setup capabilities to operate a client-exclusive 5G Lab
