While India is already a dominant global force in the sector of IT software and services, through Make in India initiative, Karnataka government aims to fuel growth in the electronics manufacturing sector. CeBIT India aims to catalyze this growth by showcasing innovations in the Indian ESDM sector on its globally renowned platform, creating a network of business opportunities for various stakeholders in the ecosystem.

According to recent reports, the ESDM market is expected to reach USD 400 billion worldwide by 2020, and the state of Karnataka aims to tap 10 percent of the total market. The MSME sector is poised to play a critical role in catering to the supply chain demands of the ESDM sector. The collaboration between CeBIT and CLIK is expected to further promote growth in the ESDM sector and provide newer forays for collaboration between member MSMEs, government, and service providers, as well as encouraging global investment in the state.

“CLIK is a strong association of over 400 MSMEs dedicated towards promoting the electronic industry in Karnataka. Since our inception, we have played an active role in encouraging vibrant growth of MSMEs in the state. We believe that CeBIT India is a perfect platform for our members to share the stage with global leaders and garner more business opportunities,” said Mohandas U, Vice President, CLIK.
