Cities where Airtel 5G Plus services are now available

In a span of less than 15 days, Airtel has introduced its 5G Plus in 5 different cities and a total of 18 cities now have Airtel 5G Plus.

As of now, 18 different cities in various states are home to Airtel’s 5G Plus Services, Visakhapatnam/Vizag being the latest addition. Airtel has deployed 5G NSA (non-standalone) networks.

Bharti Airtel, India's second biggest telecom provider has introduced its 5G services in 18 Indian cities so far. The most recent launch occurred at Visakhapatnam/Vizag.

In a span of less than 15 days, Airtel has introduced its 5G Plus in 5 different cities of the nation. Looking at the pace, the telco is introducing 5G services at, it won't be long until we can use Airtel’s 5G Plus across the nation because the carrier is seen to be rather quick with its 5G plans.

As of now, 18 different cities in various states are home to Airtel’s 5G Plus Services.

The Cities that are covered by Airtel 5G Plus services include: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Patna, Guwahati, Shimla, Imphal, Varanasi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Panipat and Gurugram.

Now, if you live in any of the aforementioned cities and have a 5G-capable smartphone with a 4G prepaid Plan on your 4G SIM, you may be able to access Airtel 5G Plus services.

Additionally, 5G has not yet been deployed entirely in any of the above cities. Therefore, another important factor is which part of the city you are in since some parts offer 5G coverage while construction is still ongoing in many others.

Users of 4G can have free access to Airtel's 5G Plus services until the deployment is more widespread and the telco introduces separate plans for 5G recharge. Keep in mind that 5G network uses data more quickly than 4G, so if you're in an area that is covered by 5G and you're using 5G network continually, you will be required to recharge with data plans more often than you did for 4G.
