DigitalOcean, Stockroom.io to host online Women Coding Hack on January 7th

Cloud platform provider DigitalOcean and Stockroom.io, India's curated platform for developers, have partnered to launch ‘Women Hack’, an online coding challenge for women.

BENGALURU: Cloud platform provider DigitalOcean and Stockroom.io, India's curated platform for developers, have partnered to launch ‘Women Hack’, an online coding challenge for women.

According to the organizers, the women hack will consist of a series of challenging coding questions of various complexities. Participants are expected to solve these questions remotely in a given time frame. The top women developers who participate in the challenge will be featured and rewarded.

The first women hack is scheduled for January 7, 2017. The organizers say that every participant of the challenge will receive free cloud credits from DigitalOcean and the winner will get some cool swag, additional cloud credits and a cash prize from DigitalOcean.

Both Stockroom.io and DigitalOcean  intend to host women-only coding challenges more frequently and host it in a big scale going forward.
