First Made for India Supertainment Le 1s Eco phone launched at Rs 9999

BENGALURU: Chinese mobile phone manufacturer LeEco has launched its first Made for India phone at Rs 9999. The global Internet and technology conglomerate announced its Blockbuster Superphone yesterday at a launch event in Mumbai, showcasing its unique content integration model and features 'LeVidi' and 'Live' that will give users access to a plethora of entertainment content anytime anywhere.

At the launch event, the company explained that its Blockbuster Superphone is a power-packed performer and the first device to showcase the integrated content one-stop experience coupled with breakthrough technology. The Le 1s Eco is the first “Made for India” Superphone by the company, with a unique ecosystem and the first of its kind in the sub-10,000 category packed with powerful features.

The LeEco Membership in the Supertainment package is said to bring content, service, and experience in a single package. LeEco says that its Le Vidi app, which is available on its smartphones, is an open syndication platform that aggregates popular videos from across the Internet. The company has partnered with Eros Now, and with the distributor, it aims to bring over 2,000 movies on demand, new blockbusters, and films across 10 languages. It will also offer exclusive Eros Now content.

The phone is equipped with a 5.5” inch (403 ppi) screen of 1080x1920 resolution display, the device delivers an ideal balance of performance, battery life and graphics to users.
