With the help of the tool, Flock says that Slack users can migrate to its platform while retaining all data, messages, contacts and chat history.

Flock also assures that Slack teams which migrate will save approximately 60 percent in communication and collaboration costs, from $8.00 (Slack) to $3.00 (Flock) per user per month for premium accounts.

Users can import their entire teams to Flock in a few clicks. Explaining the process, Flock says that once the process is initiated, new teams will be created within the Flock ecosystem that will mirror those previously established in Slack. Upon completion of migration, team administrators will receive an email providing an overview of all the data imported, including the numbers of users and teams, public and private channels, and the number of messages and files.
