BENGALURU: Digital recharge and utility payment provider FreeCharge has recorded 1 million customers. Customer rollout of the FreeCharge Wallet was initiated on September 25, 2015, and the company claims that this makes the wallet the first in the country to achieve the milestone within five days of customer rollout. The early use-cases observed are for utility bill payments like mobile recharge, electricity bill payments and online shopping.
