NEW DELHI: India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE, Bangalore Chapter) will be hosting the first edition of IoTNEXT – a platform to Learn, Explore and Network on ushering the next era of Internet of Things (IoT) innovation from 9 to 10 December in Bangalore.
IESA is the premier trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry.
“This year, with the theme “Innovating Digital Economy with IoT Solutions & Services”, the platform will attempt to address the convergence of multi-disciplinary facets of the technology ecosystem with IoT- hardware, IT, Big Data, Cloud and Connectivity, hence enabling a more agile, efficient and cost effective solutions and services with industry collaborations and partnerships,” a release said.
With aggressive focus by Indian government on “Digital India”, “Smart Cities” and “#MakeinIndia” to drive the growth and development of the nation & a rapidly maturing multi-disciplinary talent base and accelerating startup ecosystem, this growth momentum would provide an impetus for driving digital economy innovation with IoT, not just in India but all around the world.
“IoTNEXT 2015 brings together an elite list of global experts and decision makers from IoT focused System OEMs, IT Services companies, network providers, IoT startups/entrepreneurs and end-users for a 2-day summit to explore trends, best practices, deployment scenarios along with panels and expert talks to take deeper dive into specific technology domains and case studies,” it said.
This Global IoT summit will include sessions and tracks on 'Industry 4.0 and #MakeinIndia' , 'Smart Cities' , 'Smart Agriculture and Water' , 'Driving Innovation' and 'Healthcare Product Showcase'. The ‘Healthcare Product Showcase’ will showcase innovative and impactful next-age IoT enabled Healthcare products.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar will deliver the theme address and Gerd Hoefner, Managing Director & CEO, Siemens Technology India will deliver the Inaugural keynote .
