A software update for iPhones is expected to be released next week to allow 5G capabilities for public beta testing before a wider rollout in December, according to the business.

On iPhones 12 and later, the iOS 16 beta software update will allow 5G functionality. Customers of Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio who have an iPhone that is supported can begin experiencing 5G speeds the week after next before it becomes widely available. However, the corporation has not officially announced the rollout's precise date.
The business has continuously been testing 5G services on Networks in India that are already operational. Apple is expected to activate 5G support on the iPhone 12, 13, 14 series along with the iPhone SE.
