Karbonn unveils entry-level K9 Smart at 3,990

NEW DELHI: Domestic handset maker Karbonn has launched an entry-level smartphone, the Karbonn K9 Smart, for Rs 3,990.

The Karbonn K9 Smart features a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) Dragontrail display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 512 MB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 KitKat operating system and is packed with 2300 mAh removable battery.

The handset comes with 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up-to 32GB via microSD card. The Karbonn K9 Smart sports an 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the handset offers 3G, Dual SIM, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, GPS and a micro USB port.

The Karbonn K9 Smart also provides users the option to navigate the device in up to 12 Indian languages and the flexibility to choose from 21 Indian languages for typing input.
