LAVA introduces first 4G-enabled tablet at Rs 8,799

NEW DELHI: Mobile handset manufacturer LAVA International Limited has launched its first 4G enabled tablet - IvoryS 4G. Targeted at Generation Y, the company believes that it is a perfect device to use for both work and entertainment purposes.

The press release said that with IvoryS 4G, consumers will be able to discover and experience the difference in product design and performance, as compared to other products in the similar category.

Coupled with 7-inch HD display and 4G connectivity, IvoryS 4G attracts users who multitask while on the move. Priced at Rs 8,799, the tablet will be available across all multi-retail outlets.

IvoryS 4G is powered by Cortex A53 Quad Core 1 GHz processor and 1 GB DDR3 RAM with 7-inch HD IPS display screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, thus providing rich display functionality to the device. With the three different 4G bands (FDD Band 3, FDD Band 5 & TDD Band 40), the tablet also provides a smooth calling experience. Additionally, the 3G services on IvoryS 4G are also better than standard 3G with the inclusion of WCDMA 900 band.

The device also supports GSM 900, 1800 MHz, HSPA and offers dual SIM (4G+3G/2G) connectivity and a sturdy 3000 mAh battery for prolonged usage. IvoryS 4G packs a large onboard storage of 16 GB ROM expandable up to 32 GB, allowing consumers to store more music, pictures, videos and other valuable data. IvoryS 4G runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS which enhances the reliability of the tablet by fixing bugs, improving performance, providing better battery life and reducing the risk of memory leak issue.

IvoryS 4G is equipped with 5.0 MP rear camera with auto-focus supported with a flash along with 3.2 MP front camera. Additionally, the device features full HD (1080p) video playback and recording, to offer a great video experience.
