L&T, Mavenir Partner on Open RAN and 5G Test Automation Solutions

L&T Technology Services today announced a strategic partnership with Mavenir. The two companies will work to deliver Open RAN and end-to-end 5G automation with Mavenir.

The company said that the automation services will include Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) automation of the 5G O-RAN portfolio of RU/DU/CU products. The said services will also be in conjunction with 5G NSA and SA core network products.

The companies also said that the products will include support for global frequency bands supporting TDD and FDD technology.

Under the agreement, LTTS will work on accelerating Mavenir's cloud-native product roadmap driving increased market share in 5G ecosystem. It will also allow both the companies to offer products and services to CSPs and Enterprises.

LTTS will develop the said services at its Bengaluru premises. Here, it will develop subject matter expertise, advanced automation capabilities and patented tools and platforms. The company said that the move will also enable fast, cost-effective integration of a wide range of products and applications. LTTS added that it will also include Cloud Native 5G core network solutions in the integrations.

LTTS hopes that will also accelerate commercial deployments across a broad spectrum of customers and industry verticals.
