Yesterday, Mavenir announced its Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) solution. The solution applies AI to video stream analysis, enabling enterprises and CSPs to gain instant insights and actionable intelligence.
Mavenir Introduces Intelligence Video Analytics
The company said that its IVA solution comes with pre-trained deep learning models and pre-configured workflows with AI-infused analytics. These decrease the solution's time to value from several months to a few weeks. Along with this, the company stated that the interface allows users to configure and manage its deployments, helping reduce costs.
Mavenir's solution uses NVIDIA's GPUs to help speed up data processing at multiple workflow stages, which helps deliver insights faster. Since the solution uses an open framework, telcos can deploy the solution across the network on any cloud infrastructure.
Furthermore, the IVA's distributed architecture uses real-time analytics to capture data at edge nodes. Then, it uploads data content of value to a centralized computing function in the cloud. The edge nodes ensure optimized usage of the network’s bandwidth while the transfer of data to the centralized nodes provides capabilities for cumulative analytics, the configuration of alerts, and the management of the edge nodes.
