A new health ecosystem that only fits the needs of the provider and the patient but also improves the accuracy, efficiency, convenience, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of the healthcare network is what the 5G promises to enable.
Reliance Jio has partnered with medical response service provider Medulance Healthcare to introduce a 5G-smart connected ambulance.
The car has cameras and smart technologies that enable two-way, real-time audio and video communication, high-definition video transmission, ambulance location tracking, and real-time streaming of patient health data to a distant doctor over a fast 5G network. This assists in notifying the nearby hospital's staff so they can manage the patient better when they arrive and gain valuable time.
By linking an ambulance to a hospital practically anywhere in the nation, Medulance Healthcare's high-speed 5G ambulance hopes to completely transform the emergency healthcare system in rural India according to the business.
The co-founder of Medulance Healthcare, Ravjot Arora commented on the launch by saying: "In this constantly evolving technology environment, the healthcare business needs to remain adaptable to fully harness the wave of 5G. We can completely change the way that traditional patient care is provided by combining 5G with other cutting-edge technology. In medical emergencies, real-time data monitoring and relay can save lives. A new health ecosystem that only fits the needs of the provider and the patient but also improves the accuracy, efficiency, convenience, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of the healthcare network is what the 5G promises to enable. A step in that direction is the agreement with Jio."
Medulance claims that with a 5G ambulance, patients' vital signs and other health information can be transmitted in real-time from the vehicle to the hospital, where doctors can give paradmedics instructions via a secure digital connection.
According to the business with this, the patient can receive care even while travelling to the hospital, during the crucial "golden hour" when quick medical assistance might save someone's life, particularly in medical situations including heart attack, brain stroke, accidents and trauma. patients in isolated and rural locations far from medical facilities stand to benefit from the ambulances as well.
