NEW DELHI: Chinese handset manufacturer Meizu has launched the M2 smartphone in India at a price of Rs 6,999.
The phone will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. The company has already opened registrations for the phone, which will go on sale from October 12.
In terms of specifications, the Meizu m2 comes with a polycarbonate unibody design and features a 5-inch HD display covered by Asashi Dragontrail protective glass surface. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
On the storage front, the phone offers 16GB eMMC memory which is expandable up to 144GB using a microSD card. The phone features a dual SIM configuration and the second SIM card slot can be interchangeably used as a microSD card slot.
The phone features Android 5.1 OS with Meizu’s Flyme UI 4.5 skin atop it. It has a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture along with an LED flash unit and a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone supports 4G FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options.
