Microsoft, Mobikwik to offer cash back on Lumia range

NEW DELHI: Microsoft has tied up with mobile wallet MobiKwik to offer cash back offers on purchase of its Lumia range of smartphones, including Lumia 540, 535, 430, 640, 640 XL and 730.

Raghuvesh Sarup, Director – Marketing, Mobile Devices, Microsoft India, said, “Offering cashbacks in the form of digital cash on MobiKwik wallet will make the payment experience for our consumer easy and convenient. Given that MobiKwik is accepted at over 50,000 places, this offer will also give our consumers a range of options to spend their cashback at.”

Speaking at the partnership, Vartika Verma, Associate Director, Marketing, MobiKwik, added, "At MobiKwik, we’re constantly looking for opportunities to maximise the digital wallet adoption. Our partnership with Microsoft for their Lumia range of devices will help us reach out to the young and first-time smartphone users. Through the cashback offered, we are sure to create immense value for consumers; introducing them to an easy way to pay for their everyday needs, such as phone recharge, utility bills, travel, shopping, entertainment, and more."

The offer will provide the customers with cashback of up to Rs 3,600 (Rs 300 per month for 12 months) in their MobiKwik wallet, redeemable at over 50,000 merchants.
