NEW DELHI: Microsoft has launched the Lumia 540 dual SIM phone at Rs 10,199, which will go on sale starting May 18.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM features a 5-inch LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1280. It has a pixel density of 294ppi. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. In terms of storage, the device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB capacity using a microSD slot.
Microsoft has also pre-installed Skype and Office on the device and bundled 30GB of free cloud storage.
On the camera front, the phone has an 8MP snapper at the back and comes with an aperture of f/2.2. With a 5MP front wide angle camera, the phone has a 2200mAh battery and runs Lumia Denim which is essentially Windows Phone 8.1 with Update 2 with some Nokia-exclusive features.
The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi, GPS, and 3G support.
