NEW DELHI: Lenovo-owned Motorola India has announced that its Moto G (Gen 2) LTE smartphone will go on pre-order on October 15 on Flipkart during its Big Billion Day sale and the phone will be available at a price of Rs 8,999 as part of this e-commerce sale.

The Moto G (Gen 2) LTE sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is packed with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor combined with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU. It comes with 16GB RAM which can be further extended upto 32GB via microSD card and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The smartphone is equipped with an 8MP autofocus rear camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the options include 3G, Wi-Fi 80211.ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack etc.

It is packed with a 2390mAh battery.
