NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha member and Railway Convention Committee chairperson Bhartruhari Mahatab has inaugurated free Wi-Fi in Odisha's Cuttack railway station.
With this, the free Wi-Fi service will enable visitors and passengers to access Internet through smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Beside Mahatab, Devraj Panda, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road was also present on the occasion.
The high-speed Internet service provided by Google in collaboration with RailTel.
Under the Digital India initiative, Railways will be providing internet facilities to the passengers at 100 busiest stations by the end of this year. The service will be rolled out at 400 stations across the country covering all major rail premises in subsequent phases.
