NEW DELHI: In a bid to expand its reach, mobile-based services marketplace UrbanClap has launched its iOS app, which the company claims has received $10 million series-A funding.
Presently, Urbanclap has about 10,000 active professionals on its android platform across 60 service categories.
Varun Khaitan, Co-founder and Director, UrbanClap, said, “Since the beginning, more than 25% of our requests have come in from iOS users, even though they were restricted to the mobile web. These are some of our most loyal users and have been constantly pushing us to bring the iOS app.”
According to the company, UrbanClap's android application on the Google Play Store has had more than 250,000 downloads so far. On this platform, UrbanClap receives around 1,500-2,000 requests on a daily basis and almost 50,000 customers use it in a month.
