BENGALURU: Making most out of its innovative engineering capabilities, Philips Mobile has created a smartphone and a budget phone with its Xenium technology. Xenium I908 and S309 were launched in India today. The phones are available at all major retails stores across the country via the company’s national distributor — Redington.
I908 and S309 are priced at Rs. 11, 799 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.
Xenium I908’s form factor features an 8.8 mm thickness and leather like cover that is easy to hold. The smartphone comes with an octacore 1.7GHz processor allowing all the eight cores to run simultaneously. This technology is said to offer enhanced performance, power efficiency and also improve user experience.
The phone is equipped with a 2GB RAM operating memory and a 16GB internal memory. The I908 has a 5 inch-full HD screen, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 MP front camera with an 88 degree wide angel lens for high quality self-shots.
The S309 is a budget smartphone with a trendy and ergonomic design. The phone comes with a 4 inch-screen size with a Capacitive Touch Panel (CTP) and multi-touch capability. The phone has 5.0 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP rear camera. It is powered by a Dual core 1.0 GHz processor and has an internal memory of 4GB ROM. The phone also has micro SD card that can support up to 32 GB.
