realme Quicksilver One of the First to Debut with Snapdragon 778G 5G

realme announced that Quicksilver, the codename of one of its upcoming phones, will be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 778G 5G.

realme, on Wednesday, announced that it will be one of the first to launch a phone based on the latest Snapdragon 778G 5G. The phonemaker has codenamed the device Quicksilver for the time being.

Quicksilver, Powered by SD778G

realme made the announcement shortly after the chipset was launched at the annual Qualcomm 5G Summit. The smartphone maker claimed that Quicksilver will allow users to enjoy 5G on the latest platform. The chipset will improve the performance of smartphones and will provide advanced gaming capabilities, as per realme.

He further added, "realme has worked closely with Qualcomm on a variety of successful products, and we are again proud to be among the first brands to bring smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 778 5G chipset".

The new platform, dubbed the Snapdragon 778G 5G, is a 6nm chip with Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU. As per the chipmaker, it can achieve a 40% performance improvement and also has excellent energy efficiency. Its Adreno 642L GPU graphics rendering speed is about 40% faster than the previous generation.
