CHANDIGARH: Tata Docomo, one of the leading telecom players in India, has announced first of its kind products in the Punjab region – (First Recharge) FR - 128 and FR 131, which will give the customers an added benefit of free accidental cover of Rs 3 lakh along with the talk time and data benefits.
Tata Docomo has partnered with Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Ltd to provide this insurance cover to its valued customers. In case of any unforeseen accidental death or permanent total disability, the customer will get the sum assured depending on the terms and conditions of the policy. The insurance cover also provides additional benefits like ambulance charges, medical expenses, etc. All policies would be issued basis the CAF submitted by customers.
To avail this offer, the customer will have to opt for either of FR 128 or FR 131. Both FR 128 and FR 131 provides customer a talk time worth of Rs 60 and 500 MB of 3G data spread over a period of 2 months. In FR 128, the user can make local calls at 35 p/min and STD calls at 30 p/min whereas in FR 131, local calls on the Tata Docomo network will be at 10 p/min and other local calls at 30 p/min. The press release also stated that in order to keep the policy active, customers have to recharge with Rs 50 per month.
