Today, from 4 PM onwards, the registration for vaccination drive for COVID-19 opens for everyone over 18 years of age. The registration will be underway on Co-WIN portal and Aarogya Setu app. Incidentally, the vaccination will begin from 1st May, 2021.
For COVID-19 vaccination, the inoculation process and documents will be the same. More importantly, walk-ins are still not allowed to avoid chaos at the vaccination centres. However, people over 45 years old can still go for on-site registration for Covid-19 vaccination.
With the cases reaching new record highs everyday, it is imperative to get vaccinated as soon as possible. In the same vein, the government also made it mandatory to register on Co-WIN, Aarogya Setu and UMANG app to get an appointment for the vaccination.

Vaccination for All
COVID-19 is a treatable disease, above all else. Please register for the vaccination and wait for your turn. In case you experience any side effects, reach out to the relevant authorities and to your doctor. The pandemic is a real threat to everyone in the world, and vaccinating is safeguarding yourself against it. However, to reiterate, it is not a guarantee, and even after getting the shot, everyone still needs to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
