First cities to receive 5G services
The majority of the cities that Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio target are the same ones. Five cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, and Chennai, will be delivered 5G network services from Jio. Jio is providing free 5G-enabled Wi-Fi in Nathdwara. Whereas, Eight cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi, Chennai, Siliguri, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru,will receive 5G network services from Airtel. By the end of the year, more cities should be serviced by the telecoms.
