NEW DELHI: Samsung India has launched its swanky new Executive Briefing Centre, a first-of-its-kind experience centre in India that will be a one-stop destination for all of Samsung’s top-of-the-line products and services as well as enterprise offerings available in the country.
The 9,000 sq ft Executive Briefing Centre at the Samsung India headquarters in Gurgaon showcases Samsung’s cutting edge technology and solutions for segments such as retail, transportation, manufacturing, air conditioning, education, smart homes, gaming and virtual reality, government and also banking, financial services and insurance sectors.
The centre was inaugurated by Samsung Southwest Asia President & CEO HC Hong, along with Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Marketing Group, Samsung Electronics and David Daegil Kim, Vice President, B2B Sales Group, Samsung Electronics.
“Thanks to you, our partners and colleagues, we are the number one MNC in India today. We are experiencing robust growth in India. But numbers are not as important. More important thing is that we are the most trusted brand in India, loved by Indians,” said Hong.
Ha said this is Samsung’s largest EBC in the world. “This is very significant for us and it is more meaningful for me personally because B2B is a journey that Samsung embarked on many many years ago and our vision continues. By 2020, which is not far from now, we want at least 30% of our business to be in B2B.”
Talking about Samsung’s core values, Ha stressed on one of the five values, co-prosperity.
“We cannot do this alone, we must do this with your support and your partnership. I ask you to utilize this beautiful space as much as possible for co-prosperity in our business,” she said.
David Daegil Kim, Vice President, B2B Sales Group, Samsung Electronics said today is the day of a new era at Samsung.
The inaugural event was attended by Rajiv Singh, Vice Chairman of real estate developer DLF alongside several key partners of Samsung India from across the mobile, consumer electronics, display and AC businesses, who were given an exclusive tour of the experience centre.
At the Executive Briefing Centre, enterprises can witness how innovative devices including product and mirror displays for retail zones, complete restaurant management systems with NFC tag readers and queue management systems for quick service restaurants among many others can empower them to be more productive.
The Executive Briefing Centre features Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ innovations that have helped Samsung become the ‘Most Trusted’ brand in the country. Samsung, which started its operations in India 22 years ago, is today the country’s biggest mobile phone and consumer electronics brand.
