Samsung’s new Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime offers smart battery, complete privacy options

NEW DELHI: Samsung India Electronics has expanded its Galaxy J Series portfolio with the launch of Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime. According to Samsung, the all new Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime showcase a perfect blend of unmatched style and innovative Make for India features.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime are available at INR 18,790 and INR 14,790 respectively. Galaxy J7 Prime is available in the market now and Galaxy J5 Prime will be available by end of September 2016. Both the models are available in 2 colours – Gold and Black. Customers of Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime on the Vodafone Network will get additional 9GB of data, when they recharge with a data pack of 1GB or above. Customers can avail of this benefit for 3 recharges or over 3 months.

Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime integrate the innovative ‘Make for India’ features S Power Planning & S Secure which address consumers’ power management & security related concerns. The S Power Planning has three features – ‘Reserve battery for calls’ which enables the consumer to allocate a certain percentage of the battery for calls & messages, ‘Extend Battery time’ which allows user to extend the usage time of the phone upto twice the current available time and ‘Forward calls when no battery’ wherein the user can forward the calls to a selected contact or any number when the phone runs out of battery.

S Secure, which addresses the consumers’ concerns on security & privacy has three features – ‘Lock and hide apps’ which allows users to hide or lock applications, ‘Secure Folder’ where the user can stores files for increased privacy & security and ‘Secure Wi-Fi’ which enables consumers to browse worry free especially on a public Wi-Fi by encrypting data which is being transferred.

Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime are full metal unibody smartphones, with 2.5D-Gorilla Glass. The Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime sport a 5.5” Full HD and 5” HD screen. The Galaxy J7 Prime comes equipped with a powerful Octa -core processor & 3GB RAM, while the Galaxy J5 Prime has a Quad-core processor with a 2GB RAM. This ensures that the smartphones handle day-to-day tasks with ease, for a faster and smoother multi-tasking experience. Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime come with dual SIM & Micro SD card support which is expandable up to 256GB.
