Satyam Infoway Changes Name to Sify Ltd

Satyam Infoway Ltd, an Indian Internet, networking and eCommerce services
company, has announced that it has completed the change of its name to Sify
Ltd. The company's stockholders at the extraordinary general meeting held on
December 9, 2002 approved the name change. The symbol for the company's  American Depository Shares traded on the Nasdaq
National Market will remain  "SIFY."
