NEW DELHI: Japanese conglomerate SoftBank has invested in $1.4 billion (over Rs 9,079 crore) in Indian digital payments platform, Paytm.
Paytm, which runs India's biggest digital payments system with more than 220 million users.
The company said it planned to spend 100 billion rupees ($1.5 billion) over the next three to five years to expand its services in India.
