NEW DELHI: Indian cable to telecoms giant Sterlite Technologies will be showcasing its end-to-end products, services & software offerings at the 2nd India Smart City Expo 2016 from May 11-13 in Delhi's Pragati Maidan.
During the three-day exhibition, Sterlite Technologies will showcase - the Sterlite Smart City Solution Suite – an end-to-end approach for fast and future-proof network rollout, with seamless System Integration with best in class global OEMs. Customised for specific requirements of urban and rural bodies for area-based development and pan-city initiatives, the Sterlite Smart City Solution Suite is a unique offering that features complete program management, project execution and network integration from infrastructure management to network applications.
With this suite & its product-to-service & application layer presence, Sterlite aims to become the partner of choice to realise the vision of 100 Smart Cities by efficient management of multiple vendors, integration of varied smart city technologies, and timely achievement of the Smart City creation targets.
Highlighting the opportunity that the expo presents, Dr. Anand Agarwal, CEO, Sterlite Technologies, said, “Urban areas will house 40% of India’s population and contribute 75% of India’s GDP by 2030. During the inaugural session on May 11th, Dr. Agarwal will share his views on building a right policy framework and integrated technology ecosystem, in the panel discussion on “Smart Cities in India: Policy and regulatory environment.” Deepak Sharma, Head of Network Solutions, Sterlite Technologies will also represent the company in the second panel discussion on “Infrastructure and ICT providers need to collaborate to build smart cities,” the same day.
