MeitY announces PMP for promoting indigenous mobile handset manufacturing

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has announced a Phased Manufacturing Programme (PMP) with the objective of promoting the depth in domestic manufacturing of Cellular mobile handsets.
