NEW DELHI: Tata Consultancy Services has announced a new collaboration with Intel Corporation to build a “future ready reference architecture” for the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud, network, 5G, AI and data center infrastructure management, helping to meet therapidly evolving digital transformation requirements of global markets.
"The collaboration will enable the development of solutions based on Intel’s technologies such as Intel Xeon Processors, 7th-Gen Intel Core processors, Intel Optane SSDs, Intel XeonPhi processors, and Intel Omni-Path Technology, as well as Intel solutions including Intel Rack Scale Design, network function virtualization (NFV) and artificial intelligence.Coupled with TCS’ full services digital expertise, the collaboration will deliver business value by advancing customers’ data centers and end-to-end IoT solutions such as edge devices, operating systems, storage, analytics, end-point devicesand networking infrastructure investments," a statement said.
"TCS and Intel are also investing in Centers of Excellence (CoE) in the US and India, which will be hubs for next generation datacenter technologies, IoT and cloud-ready network architectures to support customers. The COEs will address industry-specific challenges in IoT to optimize costs, improve productivity and increase customers’ revenue. In addition, TCS and Intel will design cloud-ready network architectures to help businesses build agile and cost effective infrastructure through software-defined networking, software-defined infrastructure and NFV," it said.
