Tata Docomo launches '1948' helpline number to locate friends, family in Tamil Nadu

NEW DELHI: Telecom service provider Tata Docomo has launched a helpline number-1948 for its customers to locate their friends and family across Tamil Nadu.

"One has to call 1948 and share details of the Tata Docomo number they wish to trace. Within the next four hours, the last noted location of that number will be shared via SMS," the company said in a statement.

"In order to ensure uninterrupted services the payment deadlines for all Tata Docomo post pay customers have also been extended,” it said.

“We have also extended our payment deadlines so that our postpay customers can continue to use our network without having to worry about paying bills in this dire circumstance”, said Sanjay Dakwale, Vice President – Customer Service Delivery, Tata Teleservices.
