BENGALURU: InMobi is celebrating this I-Day with FreedomHack'15 at its office in Bengaluru. The mobile advertising company has associated with the NGO, The/Nudge Foundation to organize this Hackathon for a social cause. FreedomHack’15 will focus on sustainable poverty alleviation. The first time the event will bring together best engineering minds of the country to solve large social challenges in society.
While the concept remains similar to most hackathons, FreedomHack’15 will bring together programmers and software engineers to create practical solutions towards the challenges being faced by nonprofit organizations across India. Based on inputs from NGOs like Rang De, Swasti, Head Held High, Morph.org and Swasth, the key themes for FreedomHack’15 include healthcare, life-skills, livelihoods, education and crowd-funded microfinance.
