Telecom sector will play the most critical role in Digital Indian mission and Make in India
Some of the key attributes needed for the success of the Digital India Program are capacity building, robust infrastructure, transparency and governance along with digital literacy and skill set training.
With an increasing adoption of technologies like augmented and virtual reality, Internet of things, data analytics and smart computing consumers across the cross-section of the society will increasingly make use of digital platforms, social media, and apps for a more customized experience.
But for these initiatives to be effectively implemented efforts need to be taken towards bridging the digital divide. Education will need to focus on closing the skill gap and increasing proficiency via ICT training, digital education, and training programs.
The telecom sector is moving towards 5G after a successful 4G LTE rollout in India. Telecom sector will play the most critical role in Digital Indian mission and Make in India. This is where skill development, capacity building, and training become important pillars that will enable the successful implementation of key technologies like AR, VR, IoT, AI etc.
