Telegram Premium to be introduced in India at Rs 460

Telegram Premium has been made available worldwide. The "Premium" plan will be available on the smartphone of the user after the app has been updated by the user. It includes many new features along with improved user capabilities, including the ability to send large files and join more channels.  Its price has been fixed at Rs 460 in India.

Telegram Premium  features available for Indian users:

Telegram Premium users will have access to nearly 1000 channels, 20 public connections, and the opportunity to link four accounts to four separate phone numbers. Other items have also been doubled, including the capacity to save up-to 400 GIFs whereas free users' capacity is  limited to only 200.

The upload size for documents has been upgraded from 2GB to 4GB. The option to read the transcript of any incoming audio message will also be available to users. In public channels where Telegram occasionally displays adverts, there won't be any more of them. The users will also be provided access to items like premium stickers among others. Additionally, premium subscribers will receive a badge indicating their support for Telegram. Users will also have the choice to select from premium app icons.
