Millicom, Airtel complete Ghana transaction

NEW DELHI: Millicom International Cellular and Bharti Airtel have announced completion of a deal to combine their operations in Ghana.

"Millicom International Cellular S.A. ("Millicom"), the parent company of mobile operator Tigo Ghana Limited, announced today it has completed the transaction announced on March 3, 2017, with Bharti Airtel Limited ("Airtel"), the parent company of Airtel Ghana, to combine their operations in Ghana," the company said in a statement.
