Vodafone-Idea (Vi) is providing Additional 50GB of data on its Rs 1499 annual prepaid plan. This additional data is provided for only a few customers. These select Vi customers will see these additional data within their My Vi app. According to a Telecom Talk report, the customers will now get 50GB more data in the prepaid plan, after which the total data will be 74GB for the customers.
Vodafone Idea offers the Rs 1,499 plan with the benefit of unlimited calling and 24GB of data. This plan also offers unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day to the users. It carries a validity of 365 days. The Rs 1,499 prepaid plan from Vi is suitable for users who want less to do with data and primarily use their smartphones for voice calling purposes.
Additional benefits of the plan include a subscription to ZEE5 and Vodafone Play.
No confirmation is given, however, of the duration of this offer. While it may be possible that Vi is offering users a new year offer of 50GB additional data, the speculation has not been confirmed by the telco.
So now, instead of getting 24GB for a year, users will get 74GB of data whereas all the other benefits of the plan will remain the same. This may be a good offer for users looking to recharge with the plan right now considering the fact that Vodafone Idea might soon increase the tariffs of its prepaid offerings.
Thus, it would be a good time for the users to recharge with this year-long plan right now with the bonus data before the tariffs increase.
As mentioned above, this plan could be ideal for all the users who are looking to go for a prepaid plan which predominantly offers voice calling benefits and fewer data benefits.
