NEW DELHI: Vodafone India’s M-Pesa has partnered with BonusHub to ease the lives of daily commuters of Delhi Noida Delhi (DND) Flyway.
With this, customers can now use Vodafone M-Pesa wallet to top up their DND Flyway Gold, Silver & RFID cards; thus avoiding queues at the DND toll.
The DND Flyway registers close to 1.20 lakh vehicles on an average weekday and close to 20% of them use Gold, Silver and RFID cards.
Vodafone M-Pesa is a unique and innovative Digital Wallet service that offers money transfer, bill & utility pay, merchant payments and business solutions. Vodafone M-Pesa with a network of 120060 agents is the largest business banking correspondent in the country with over 5.4 mn customers.
Announcing the partnership Apoorva Mehrotra Business Head Delhi-NCR said, “M-Pesa’s aim is to provide easy, safe, and a seamless transaction experience to the customers. Just a simple recharge through their phones would save the commuters the stress of getting stuck in cues and the hassle of finding loose change. Vodafone M-Pesa is one of the recipients of an in-principle approval for a payment bank license issued by RBI, with which services like savings, deposit, payment and remittances can be provided to shoppers.
