Cybermedia’s Consulting Editor, Ibrahim Ahmad will moderate the Fireside Chat on the topic 5G - After the Auctions - next steps. Invited participants include Randeep Sekhon, CTO, Airtel; Lt Gen. Dr SP Kochhar, DG, COAI, Sameer Vuyyuru, Head of WW Business Development for Communication Service Providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Shyam Prabhakar Mardikar, President, Group CTO, Mobility, Reliance JIO will share his thoughts on the theme of the conference - 5G & the future of mobile data, in the Keynote Session.
That will be followed by the first panel discussion of the day, which will be on the topic 5G Rollout- moderated by Dinesh Chand Sharma, Director European Project on standards. The topics for discussion will include revolutionizing infrastructure investment approach, strategies adopted by operators to upgrade existing 4G networks or acquire additional spectrum, capabilities of current 4G networks for allowing elements of 5G technology to be built onto their networks, leveraging existing capacities, and how operators intend to meet demands of the rollout, create use cases, and the role of infrastructure in meeting capacity demands. The second-panel discussion will be on 5G for Enterprise and Private Networks. Adoption strategy, Opportunities, and challenges for 5G in the enterprise – enhanced network capacity, elimination of bottlenecks in last mile, AI & IoT driving innovation with improved operational efficiency.
The next session will be an Industry keynote by Danielle Royston, and a panel discussion on The future state of the Industry- 5G, Cloud, and Edge Ecosystems. The last Panel discussion will be on Satellite in the 5G Ecosystem. In this panel, 5G and Non-Terrestrial networks, the role of satellite-based communication in leveraging communication infrastructure to deliver 5G services and bridge the digital divide.
