India's own product engineering company, VVDN Technologies unveiled its new Global Innovation Park (GIP) located at Manesar, Haryana, India.

Via video conferencing, Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari, managing 3 portfolios as Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Minister of Shipping and the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India, inaugurated the facility that is spread over 10 acres at the park.

While inaugurating the Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari expressed saying, “It is an achievement for Government of India’s vision for an Atamanirbhar Bharat when Indian tech companies like VVDN take on the challenge of Designing and Manufacturing high-tech electronic products and components in India and set their eyes for global success."

The company also conveyed to the media that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent a congratulatory message in the form of a letter to VVDN praising the company on its Make in India initiatives.

Minister Gadkari at the time of inauguration had expressed that India is exploring import substitution, cost-effective, pollution-free, indigenous product manufacturing in the country.

He added that VVDN’s Global Innovation Park, where under one roof all facilities of International standard designing, testing laboratories, and production basis international standards will be done is futuristic and the way forward.

The 10 acres-facility of VVDN’s Global Innovation Park (GIP) features R&D and Electronic Manufacturing Facility. The facility is expected to accommodate about 1,00,000 people over the next three years.

With this new GIP facility, VVDN intends to increase its current manufacturing capacity for electronic product engineering and manufacturing of solutions including 5G Equipment, Trackers, Dashcams, Cameras, and Wi-Fi Access Points.

VVDN’s CEO Bhupender Saharan has said that the company's Global Innovation Park, along with 10 of its other R&D centers, 4 manufacturing facilities across the country, would be continuously innovating the latest technologies especially in the 5G, Wifi, Cloud, Vision IoT space.

"This aligns with the company’s effort to increase employment in India and eventually contributing to providing a positive impact on the economy of our country," said Saharan.

VVDN Technologies intends to hire more than 10,000 employees in the next 12 months as a part of its ongoing commitment to accelerate the pace of technology innovation, design, and manufacturing in India initiative for the Electronics industry.

The company says that during the Covid-19 lockdown timeframe, VVDN has successfully hired and on-boarded 500 employees across India.
